I'm a digital marketing and campaigns adviser working in local government, where I plan, write and produce the communications that help councils and civil service bodies reach the people they serve.
My path here wasn't a straight line: I started in agency marketing, moved into strategic communications consultancy, and landed in local government almost by accident, then stayed because the work actually matters. Public services communicate with everyone, whether they choose to pay attention or not, and getting that right, clearly, accessibly, honestly, is work I care about.
In my day job, I produce podcasts, film and photograph senior stakeholders, and write data-informed campaign plans. I'm also slowly building a second set of skills in data and analysis to go with the first. Alongside this, I'm actively working toward trustee and board roles, particularly where digital thinking is missing from the room within charity organisations.
This site is where I keep the proof: real campaigns, real numbers, real work, rather than a list of adjectives about myself.
